A campaign has commenced in Newcastle to improve the number of women coming forward for screening. The supporting information was designed by Middlesbrough council. This poster is an example of the material being used. All practices were written to inviting them to take part. Visits to practices who have under 75% coverage have been offered by a representative from CRUK or Cervical Screening Training. The purpose of the visit is to look at processes which are currently in place and offer suggestion for improvement. Any practice over 75% coverage are offered a pack with supporting material. Pharmacies across the city will be displaying posters and the spring addition of City Life will have an article about cervical screening.
