Cervical Screening Training

Theory, Practice, Update

Cervical Screening Training has been established in the North East since 2000. The service is commissioned and funded by Health Education England.  This provides Cervical Screening Mentors to oversee the clinical element of training for nurses new to cervical screening and provide support and advice for established sample takers.  The NHS Cervical Screening Programme – Guidance for the training of cervical sample takers, recommends three yearly updates currently to be completed online, the link to the on line eLearning is http://portal.e-lfh.org.uk  Once completed please forward a copy of the eLearning Certificate to michelle.harrison5@nhs.net so that it can be uploaded on to the CSTD Database.

We are based in New Croft Centre, Market Street East, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 6ND.  To get in touch with us, please visit our Contact Us section.
